From the desk of "Zenobia's Paleo Budget Tips", Zen shares her typical day ~ the Paleo Way.
My day looks a bit like this.
I wake up around 6.45am and get up, have my lemon water then walk my dog for about 30-45minutes.
Once I’m home I have my breakfast – either coconut yoghurt with paleo granola (I get it from ALDI), or a smoothie with berries, almond or soy milk (I prefer almond milk in smoothies and cooking and soy for my tea), banana, hemp protein and cacao powder (you can also get this at Aldi). I also will usually have some fruit.
For lunch I will either have leftovers from dinner, or salad/vegetables with tuna or tofu (not strictly paleo, but I’m not a big meat eater).
For dinner I’ll have tofu stir fry with cauliflower rice, baked tofu with vegetables, or occasionally pork chops, roast, or lasagne with tofu cheese and zucchini as pasta. I also love soup, especially in the winter.
For dessert I’ll have fruit, or some homemade baked goods so I know exactly what is in them.
It’s also fun to experiment with paleo baking!
